Our Pastor and First Lady
Pastor Jerry Wade, Sr., and First Lady Loretta Wade were married in 1978. They have four Children, Jerry Jr., Jessica, Davonta', and Precious. They have four grandchildren. Pastor Wade received his calling into the Gospel Ministry in 1978 at the Mt. Horeb Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. Samuel H. Smith. In 1991, Pastor Wade accepted the Pastoral position here at Providence Church. Under his leadership the church has grown exponentially, undergone two building renovations, and in 2007 built our current sanctuary. His care and civility as a Pastor has been as world renown as his incredible preaching and singing ability. Providence Church is incredibly blessed to have our Pastor and First Lady.
